That may or may not have been Nicki Minaj’s thought process as she was being shot for the cover to her upcoming Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded: The Re-Up (which might be dropping the Pink Friday part to avoid the awkward title double-colon), but it certainly looks like it.
Hopefully Nicki’s sneer of distaste does not extend to the actual product being endorsed—the Re-Up re-issue packs five or six bonus tracks, the first of which (“The Boys”) we were actually rather fond of. Maybe next time, it’s not a good idea to hold up pictures of Mariah Carey in the background to try to get Nicki to smile.
